Toshiba equium a100-147 upgrades

Im curious to find out exactly which aspects of my toshiba equium I can upgrade? I cant afford a new laptop at the moment so I want to boost the performance of mt current one a much as possible, any advice is most welcome, cheers.

General things to look at include RAM and a new hard drive. Depending on how how much and what type of RAM your laptop supports, you'll see a bit of a performance increase by adding a bit more. How much does it have now? In regard to the hard drive, you can look at adding a 7200 rpm drive or a solid state drive.
