Toshiba Laptop Audio Issue

I've just bought this laptop (Toshiba P55t-B5154) and immediately upgraded it from Win 8.1 to Win 10. After getting everything installed, I found that no audio was coming from the speakers. However, in Control Panel -> Sound, the window showed that audio was playing every time I tested it. Additionally, whenever the computer attempts to play audio, there are very quiet and intermittent pops coming from the speaker bar.

I have tried updating every audio related driver and other recommended fixes to no avail.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or know a fix?

Thanks

Hey, was the speakers working before the windows 10 upgrade?

If no or dont know
have you tested headphone jack so confirm its just not the speakers that are faulty.

If yes
When you installed the windows 10 audio drivers did you delete the old drivers by uninstallng the device the ticking the "delete the device driver software" box in device manager before installing the driver update?

Just a few things to try.. let us know

Yes, the speakers worked before the upgrade and the headphone jack works perfectly. I did also delete all the old drivers when installing the new ones. Nothing seems to make a difference :(
