Toshiba laptop keyboard messed up

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help me urgently with this. My Toshiba laptop keyboard has gone crazy. For example, when I push d it type [qqg]ddsqg or something like that. Please help!!!

My cat was sitting on it last night if that might have caused something

Take out the battery and startup the laptop with just the cord
