Toshiba M55-S139 hangs

Hello. I have a Toshiba M55-139 Satelite that will run for awhile, then freeze up. I've had it in for service and the memory has been replaced (and increased to 2-GB. Windows XP has also been reloaded, at least 3 times. Has anyone else experienced freezing or "hangs" with this model

Could be a hard drive problem, though that should have shown up when a new OS was installed.
