Toshiba satellite C655D-S5200 battery power caused complete shut down

I didn't noticed that my laptop was running on battery power alone when it shut off completely I went ahead and plugged ac adapter to charge , after and hour or do I noticed that LCD lights where not at all blinking and or on at all. I've tried a couple of things but still nothing ... Any suggestions please HELP!!!

Try to boot the laptop without the battery just the charger, if nothing happens verify the voltage of the charger with a multimeter.

Maybe an EC reset will work?

Disconnect charger and battery, press and hold power button for 4+ seconds, and leave the laptop for 2 - 3 minutes. Then reconnect the battery and charger, and try booting it.

That is because your computer is not completely close. Just long press the power button 5-10 seconds to close the computer . After 2-3 minutes try to reboot it with the adapter.
