Toshiba Satellite freezes at starting

Hello,
I turn on the laptop and it freezes showing the usual "Toshiba- Leading innovation" welcome, but the Windows 7 OS doesn´t load.Last time the laptop worked normally, I ended the session selecting the hibernation mode but perhaps I fear to have disconnected the machine from the AC source before the hibernation process had concluded. (The battery was out of the laptop).
Please try to help me to return my laptop to normality.
