Toshiba satellite m840 auto restarting

I have a toshiba satellite that restarts by its own and i think it's a software problem, the screen switches off and it restarts itself when im running games such as dota 2 and assassins creed, anyone got any idea on how to fix this?

Might not have sufficient muscle to use for some games, so you could be pushing it beyond what it's capable of.

The M840 was not marketed as a gaming laptop, If you continue to push it like that you will shorten it's life.

well it was working fine for me to use it for gaming, the problem only occurred recently and it could be corrupt files that forced the pc to restart? the laptop runs dota 2 well at 100 fps medium settings
