Toshiba Tecra M5 Blue Screen errors

Hi I have a Toshiba Tecra M5 Laptop, it keeps coming up with blue screen errors (it seemed to be only when the laptop was moved). Laptop has been looked at by an IT Friend who has cleared the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 7 and all the drivers. (Hoping this would solve the problem!) Unfortunately the blue screen errors are still happending! But if I connect it to a separate monitor it works perfectly! Any suggestions why I get this problem still, it seems to be its own screen that it doesn't like! Is there anything I can do?

I have the same exact issue with my screen. I have found that sometimes I can temporarily "tap" it back into color but that never lasts. Being hesitant to wreck it, I'm looking for a way to tighten it. The bluish/purplish hue seems to be getting worse...any suggestions?

Nothing turns up on Google that looks like a workable solution.
It's probably worth your effort to make a post in the Toshiba support forums and see if anyone else has more options.
