Hello,So I have a toshiba satellite laptop c655d-s5200 with windows 8 on it and I want to restore it but It dident come with any restore disks and I don't have any money to buy any. When I try to factory restore using the 0 key I keep getting a message saying missing operating system.Any help would be great thanks.

Hi,

The fact that it's giving you that error message (missing operating system) it could be that the built in factory reset of your laptop wont work either. The only way around it is really to use a System Recovery disc that you can get from them. But here's some other steps that you might want to try that might help.
