Touchpad not recognized in Device Manager

My touchpad stopped working. I does not appear in device manager. I updated bios, reinstalled touchpad driver..but still nothing
Synaptics TouchPad Driver installed yet nothing
My laptop is a HP envy14

If there are no errors shown in Device Manager and Touchpad is not listed, then it seems the touchpad is faulty and is not being detected. It will have to be sent in for repair or use a USB mouse instead.

I solved that issue by installing the touchpad driver form dell (it did probably unistall the previous one, it now appear in the mouse setting, and I can even disable it using F3).

Don't know yet if it solved my jumping cursor issue, though.
