Transfer COC without knowing any details about the original gamcenter account

I have my old iipad mini that a long time ago had a gamecenter account. At somepoint I foregot that account so I made a new gamecenter account, thinking everything would be fine. Now a few years down the road I want to transfer my COC but because I know nothing about my original camecent account, what do I do? Please help.

Contact gamecenter support and hope they can locate your account via other means, like an email address or itunes account if you can remember those.
