Travelmate 2301LMi: Compatible optical drive

I bought a used Acer Travelmate 2301LMi with no optical drive. I want to buy one from ebay but the user's manual has about 6 models of optical drives and I don't know which one (or all of them) is compatible with my laptop. The user's manual is not only for travelmate 2300 series but also for travelmate 4000 and 4500 series. Are the drivers listed in the manual compatible for all three series or some are compatible for each one?

Yes there is a slot but it is empty. I do not want an external optical drive for practical and cosmetic reasons.

Perhaps getting in touch with Acer would be the best way to go about finding a compatible model.
