Trend Micro....cant log in for help half the time...the other half their online service is down.....dont be fooled pple. ive got sites they marked safe, that if opened throw out porn pop ups.....

Have you scanned your system for viruses and malware? I would suggest getting the free version of Malwarebytes and running a scan to root out any nasties Trend Micro may have missed.

yes i did. but i fail to see the relevance? this is a problem they have...they are marking these sites as clean, and yet when i use them, there is pop ups. they are out of date when it comes to malware now it seems

and also they are always down for maintenance constantly and can never speak with an agent online.....very annoying....probably last year for me using them unless they do something drastict

It is relevant because TM may miss something, especially since you seem to be having issues.

Is your TM product current and up to date? Have you considered using a different product (to replace TM)?

ya thats where ive gotten to now....think its time to use something else ...TM has become too unreliable

Personally, I use Windows Defender and Malwarebytes (free). I am careful regarding my cyber hygiene habits. It has been years since I have had any issues.

You certainly have options and you should not have to settle for sub-par support, especially for a paid product.

It is certainly easy to stray into dangerous waters on the 'Net, even when being careful. No tool/app/program will ever be able to protect you 100% from what is in the wild.
