Trending symbol searching

I have an x96 mini. It is connected to my wi-fi , but when I select trending to watch movies an error comes up in
the back of the trending ensemble searching saying " ! Problem connecting to wi-fi ! Can anybody help?

So everything else works aside from this one thing?
