Trouble choosing between two laptops

As per the title, I can't decide which of these two laptops is better. Other than the branding, MSI and Lenovo, there aren't any significant differences between the two. I plan to use these laptops to play games and for use in college. If there are any other laptops that meet similar specs that are better than the two I've listed, I'm interested in hearing about them.

A higher tier y50 http/shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y50/?sb=:000001C9:000120E6: equals the MSI Apache in almost every way, BUT, the Apache has a 2.4Ghz (3.2 Turbo) i7, as opposed to the y50's 2.5ghz i7. That will make a difference down the line, and even today. But perhaps not enough of one to be the decision maker.

Anything else is mainly just aesthetics. I personally like the look of the Lenovo, more.

Alright. That sounds reasonable enough. That 0.1ghz might not make the largest difference in the world, but I would end up paying slightly more for it. But yeah, it seems like it will be a matter of aesthetics.

go for the y50.
msi apache build quality, heating, sound and battery life are all far behind the y50.

So does MSI's Apache just lag behind on how well it's constructed? I'm curious of what you mean by this because as far as I've heard, MSI has good build quality. Lenovo are one of the industry elites in regards to their corporate line, but is the build quality that different?
