I've recently installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 x64 on a friend's Toshiba Satellite p775-s7320 laptop. Windows wasn't able to find a driver for the WLAN card, thus making it impossible to find any other drivers through windows update. There are supposed to be drivers for an ethernet controller, network controller, and an Intel centrino wireless-N + WiMax 6150. I've tried downloading drivers from Toshiba's website, but when I try to install them manually, it still tells me that windows wasn't able to find the driver in the file that only contains that specific driver. I've spent two hours jacking around with this and I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions on what to do about this?

Hi,

Please do try getting the Hardware Id of the wireless adapter of your laptop and you should be able to find the exact driver for it.
- Open Device Manager expand Network Adapter.
- Right click on the wireless adapter then select Properties.
- Click on Details tab, under Property select Hardware id and please paste here the Hardware Id you'll get.
- We'll be able to help you find the driver for it. :)

There is no section for network adapters. The only thing I can find that might be it is under Other devices, and there are three things that I think it could be:

Ethernet Controller (ID: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSUS_FC301179&REV_06 and PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_020000)

Intel Centrino Wireless-N + WiMax 6150 (ID: USB\VID_8087&PID_07D6&REV_0000)

Network Controller (ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV-0885&SUBSYS_13058086&REV_67 and PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0885&CC_28000)
