Trying to hookup Sharp Aquos TV to Sony receiver with optical cable

I also have DVD, Fire Stick and Apple TV connect to receiver with HDMI cables. Cannot seem to find what setting on TV to see the video portion. The audio is coming through the receiver but no picture. Suggestions?

The receiver should have an HDMI out going to the TV if it has HDMI inputs. You should just need to switch the TV to the correct input you are using.

The optical cable would be to get audio from the TV tuner or smart apps to the receiver. If both the receiver and TV have ARC then you don't need the additional cable. The receiver HDMI out would have to be connected to the HDMI-ARC input on the TV.
In either case you would need to turn on the optical out or ARC in the TV menu. You may also have to turn the TV speakers off. The optical connection or ARC may have to be assigned an input name in the receiver input set up menu as well.
The TV and receiver manuals will have any details you need.
