Hello, I am trying to fix a a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. It was Dropped and the hard drive had to be replaced I was able to copy the recovery partition from the hard drive. I want to now create dvd's to use the recovery so I can put the computer back as if straight out of box condition. Can anyone help me. Thank you.

That's just it I have the recovery partition copied to an external hard drive I want to make that into a boot-able recovery DVD(s) but everything I have read says that I need to make a bootable ISO I don't know how to make one. I have downloaded Magic ISO Power ISO Ultra ISO but they will only burn so much MB's and the recovery partition is 8GB's. So I need to some how get a Free program to make a boot-able ISO from the recovery part that I have.

Hi :)

I own a Laptop repair company...

The answer is you CANNOT...

On the Recovery partition you are missing the software for CREATING the discs... you HAVE to be in either Normal or Safe mode to use it...

OR get the discs from Toshiba.... NOT free or cheap, by the way..

All the best Brett :)
