Solved! Trying to run Xbox 360 sound through sound card on my PC.

I am trying to run my xbox 360 through my PC speakers. I have video through HDMI. Sound comes through monitor speakers but is lousy. Suggestions?

2| Which version of the Xbox 360 do you currently own? Seeing how the back panel has changed, the version is important to know.
3| Depending on your model, you may or may not need a break away cable to connect to your speaker system.

Turns out I had a bad cord. Replaced the adapter and it works!
