Turn surround passive speakers wireless?

I have Sony amp at front of room with 5.1 surround speakers

I would like to turn the wired passive speakers at the back of room into wireless

Is there a cheap option of running cables to a small transmitter at back of amp to the speaker at back of room with a small receiver?

Look up wireless speaker conversion kit in a web search and see if you want to pay for that. You will need something on the output of the receiver to transmit wirelessly to the speakers and then another adapter to receive the signal on the speakers.
