Turning on GPS

OK so it's Chinese and it may even be a rip-off of another make but not one I recognise but in any event, it was cheap and has a dual-SIM facility so it suits me. It says it's running Android 4.0.3 but I think it's closer to 2.3.something.

The Settings menu has separate entries for Location and Security instead of a combined menu, and it covers only wireless networks with no mention of GPS. Does anyone know a way to turn on the GPS facility?

That device exists for one function. To part you from your money. Anything else does not have to be functional.

Well thanks for your help, folks. I'm not adversely affected by its lack as it seems to be able to identify my location from wi-fi networks within range even if I'm not connected to them. The problem was my personal annoyance that I couldn't fix the message. I'll learn to live with it. :D
