tv/dvd no sound

help. we have a sharp aquos LC24 dhg6131k tv/dvd player.

the tv is working fine but when we play a DVD the picture works but sound is very quiet. turned up to 100 it's still quiet. what are we doing wrong it's no muted

Is there a volume control for the DVD player? Check if the volume levels on the DVD are on. If you are using ARC cables, make sure that cables are plugged in properly and not loose.

hi. there is only one remote and no desperate volume control for DVD. it's a built in dvd player so no cables to see. we are stumped
