Tv> DVD> Soundbar

I have a Sony tv, a Sony Soundbar and a panasonic sc-btt370 DVD player, I am trying to get the DVD sound to come through the sound bar but having no joy, the tv sound is working however.. Any suggestions??

If the DVD is connected to the TV and the TV to the soundbar then check the set up menu in the TV to see if there is a setting that needs to be changed. If the soundbar has more than one input then you could try feeding the audio from the DVD directly into the soundbar.
