Twitter on Chrome shows a Facebook icon! Help please

Hi,

Recently whilst browsing Twitter on Chrome the favicon just randomly changed to a Facebook one, which is really strange!

I've tried incognito, clearing data, a third party app which allows you to change the favicon but to no success.

I have looked around briefly and cannot find anyone with a similar issue!

If you could help me with this, I'd be greatly appreciatve. I have reinstalled Chrome also but I don't really want to lose any data I have... so a fix without deleting data would be preferable.

sounds like you are gonna have to lose sata here because you need to get a fresh install of chrome to get rid of the problem .. delete chrome browsing data and site preferences and then do a fresh install because it could simply be that there is a extension in your chrome thats causing it or something malicious ..

Luckily for me I didn't have to lose any data to fix this!

It seems that just removing and re adding my chrome profile fixed the issue,.
