Hey guys,

I have a Seagate 1 tb hard drive. I want to create the ultimate rescue disk for repairing computers. People keep telling me that Ubuntu is great for this type of stuff. OK, I can learn a new system I guess. Is it really better and why? Is it just not as complex? IDK

My friend uses it as a rescue system as being linux based its almost never effected by a windows targetting virus (linux virus' are very rare compared to windows) meaning it ignores any issues already on the pc that might interfere with your rescue operation.
