Unable to get internet sound on my computer

Hello,I cannot get any sound from any video I watch on the internet such as a Youtube video. I can listen to music on my iTunes just fine though. Please help

Please give more information as far as OS and system specs, including antivirus software.
Obvious solution you probably already tried is to make sure that the sound is turned up on the video that you are watching. Low enough dosnt mean muted.
Maybe even update sound drivers.

Not getting sound while watching video on net, off net able to listen. My OS is Windows XP & Avira free antivirous is loaded. Pl guide.
