There was a tread started on this some time ago. Is Cingular still
offering unlimited data transfer for those on family plans? If they
are it'd almost be worth it to cancel my current contract. Please
advise. Thanks.

It is a per line feature called MEdia Works and can be added to any GSM line
regardless of it is on a Family Talk plan or not. It is $19.99 a month.
