Hello everyone!

My laptop is an Asus K55VJ. I once bricked the BIOS. I had it repaired (bios chip reprogrammed) and everything seems to be working well. However, I just noticed that my dedicated videocard (GTX 635M) is not being used/recognized by the system. I have read from multiple forums that this is caused by incompatible BIOS. As I checked the BIOS version, I was surprised to see that the BIOS programmed to the chip is for a K55VM. I can't use winflash/easy flash to update the BIOS to K55VJ as both of these tools checks if the model number of the installed BIOS and the one to be upgraded to are the same. Is there a way to bypass this check? Or can I use another program to upgrade the BIOS?

Thanks!

I know risky is for skipping all kind of errors in ez flash, like not plugged adapter, undercharged battery or downgrading bios. So i think it should skip version check too, but if it would work i cant say for sure.
