Update entertainment system?

I have an older Pioneer wired entertainment system. I have 24 in ceiling wired speakers & 12 wall controls. I want to have the ability to play different types of things in multiple areas of my 4400 sq ft home. If my wife wants to be listening to her music in the bedroom, I want to be watching a movie in the family room in surround sound and my kids are listening to their music on the patio. What do I do and what do I need?

To update the house system for music the best option would be to add Sonos to your system A Sono ConnectAmp would create a separate zone that would be independently controlled. Each one can play up to 4 speakers but they would all be one zone.
A Sonos Connect would give you the same functions over the surround sound system for the family room.
Sonos also makes Play speakers, a soundbar, and subwoofer. These can be use to create a complete surround system too.
Sonos is controlled via free apps for ios and android devices and computers. Up to 32 zones. You can access any music files you have and all the streaming services, internet radio, and Sirius/XM. Not hard to set up and they have excellent tech support.
