I would appreciate anyone's input on replacing the hard drive on my MSI Wind netbook with an ADATA 64GB SATA III MLC SSD drive. I would like to upgrade to this SSD drive if possible. Thank you... RD

Without the model number of the laptop, I can't tell you if you have a SATA port or not.
When did you buy the laptop? If it's new-ish, you'll be fine.

That being said, that's a bad pick on the SSD. It's not particularly reliable, it's TINY, and you're paying a premium for SATA III, which the laptop won't take advantage of through a SATA I or II port.

Get a larger (128GB as a MINIMUM since this is your only drive) SATA II ssd of a reliable brand.

Thank you for the quick response. It has U123 on the back along with MS-N033. This netbook is possibly four or five years old and probably came out as one of the early models.
