Solved! Upgrade an HP dv9933cl bios windows 7

I have an HP DV9933cl that came with Vista 64, I changed it to Windows 7. I want to update the BIOS but cannot find one that lists Win7 as OS. The BIOS info is F.59 11/25/2008. Any help would be appricated.

Unless the laptop is acting up or there is something wrong specifically with the BIOS and HP doesn't have an update on their support site, I'd hold off until HP releases something. You do not want to risk bricking the laptop, which is a major headache to reverse. Either that or you can get in touch with HP support to see if they recommend using what is out there or not.
