Upgrade cpu on an age laptop

Hi I have a laptop that is 3 years old currently I'm running an Intel I3 2.86 gig. I want to upgrade to an i7 646 2.8 gig on my DAGC6AMB8FO Intel board . Also I am upgrading my Ram from 2 gig one stick 2 8 gig 2 sticks can I upgrade this board or must I change out this board as I cannot find another board that will fit this particular laptop. I want to keep the laptop as it has sentimental value to me but I want to upgrade it at the same time
