upgrade from intel q35 gpu?

what type of system is this in? i assume you want to add a graphics card and not use the onboard video anymore. need the pc specs to know what will work. most important will be the power supply in the system. if this is a prebuilt system. then the oem psu won't be strong enough for a high end card.

finally what kind of budget are you looking at and what are your goals for the upgrade?
