Ok, I have a Nomad Zen Xtra 30Gb mps player (a little on the big side) and I was wondering if I should upgrade(well...some might see this as a downgrade) to the Zen Micro.

It looks pretty good, and as I have only filled up 2gb on my Zen Xtra, I can't see me using up the 30Gb ever. 5gb seems ample to me.

Opinions welcome...

ipod is high cost, low quality, proprietary garbage. Sorta like the rest of the stuff apple makes, imagine that. lol.

I'd look at the iRiver mp3 players. They support all the popular formats (mp3, wma, ogg, wav), have upgradable flash rom for future formats, have lots o space, don't need special drivers or software to put songs on them, new one can view jpg pics and even some movies I believe, battery life kicks ass, and they are fairly small. I have no doubt the creative labs mp3 players have better sound quality but the iRivers are pretty damed good. My little bro has an iRiver ihp-120 and it is sweet. It takes savere beatings and still works fine. It has survived all of his skateboard and bike spills, lol.
