Upgrading the motherboard

Hello ! I want to know if I could upgrade my laptop motherboard to get a faster processor as I am presently using Intel Celeron 2957U @ 1.40 GHz ; due to which I cannot play many of the games . I want a motherboard with a processor of speed around 2.30 GHz . Is it possible to do so ? I am using Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series 3542 (Early 2014)

unlike desktops, laptops are build in weird shapes and carefully balanced on power requirements. You MIGHT find a motherboard that fits, but your heat sink might or might not handle the extra heat of a faster cpu.

Well thank you for your reply . I'm thinking if you could help me further by giving me information---to get a similar motherboard with a faster cpu...
