USB 3.0 to HDMI for PS4

My hdmi port of my laptop is broke and I want to buy a usb 3.0 to hdmi for my ps4 and then play with ps4 remoteplay. Is this going to work?

You don't need to connect the computer through HDMI to the PS4 for remote play.
you just download the remote play software to your laptop, and use your PS4 remote while logged into your PS account on the laptop. Laptop already has a screen so there is no need to connect through HDMI, you remote through the network.
