usb audio adapter

hhey guys, sorry im in a bit of a hurry here

my headphones jack broke, so im thinking of buying a usb audio adapter
is there anything i should look for when buying? is there any difference in sound quality compared to the regular audio jacks??

If you get a good amp, the quality should be good, perhaps better than before. Cheaper ones might have issues like poor quality and high lag.
