Hi, so I was having a bit of a problem with my keyboard and so I reinstalled the drivers, thinking that it would reset my keyboard.
However, I haven't been able to type since then. I have restarted my computer multiple times, and have inserted the keyboard into other computers and they work... but on my main computer no matter what I do, the situation stays the same.
I tried to get the driver software from the manufacturer website (its an elecom) and no beans.

I don't know for the life of me what the problem is.

Solution
Go to control panel.

Click on system and security.
Click on device manager.

Find key boards.
Click on it.
Right click on each reference to a HID keyboard device.
And uninstall.

Once done restart your system.

Hi Shaun,

I have tried that a few times now, and it hasn't seemed to work... I actually went out and bought a new keyboard, and the new keyboard isn't being recognized either (Logicool g105)

What is strange is that I have the logicool software installed on my computer, and it can see that I have the keyboard attached, but i still can't type anything.

* I just reinstalled windows anyway, I am going to do another fresh reinstall, and then check to see if it works.
