usb port complaint for cables

hi ,My USB port is not working for usb cables to connect phones but pendrives mouse etc.. are working did anyone know the solution
i tried all port. except lenovo all other phones are not working my system is lenovo's When you connect your phone does it pop up on the phone saying allow or disallow?-no such options are show .System is
