Question USB tethering problem

Hi, I'm currently using Samsung S21 and I'm trying to USB tether it with my Asus Strix-G laptop but the button on my phone keep on and off like crazy. Somehow I tried using on different laptop it works with the same cable. Any ways to help me?

• tried restarting both phone and laptop
• tried different cables
• update drive and latest windows 11
• full reset my laptop
• tried different port
• tried restarting again

Does the wireless hotspot work correctly? If so, just use that.

What connector types are on the cable(s) you are trying to use?

hotspot use hotspot data right...so im trying not to use that much mobile hotspot data...
the connecter? the cable use usb C to usb A 3.0 i guess...the cable is fine, been using with my external hard drive.

Data use is data use, whether wired via USB or using the wireless interface. Makes no difference to your carrier/service.

Have you tried a USB C to USB C connection?
