USB to VGA adapter wont work for second monitor.

I am trying to use dual monitors with my laptop for work. My HDMI and VGA ports on the laptop are too close together to plug in at the same time so I bought a USB to VGA adapter, (j5create) and the other monitor is using the HDMI port. The HDMI port is working but my laptop will not detect the other monitor. Have tried everything. Any help?

You'll need to install the drivers for your USB-VGA adapter. It's probably a DisplayLink chip, so go to their website and download their latest driver.

Hi, it may be possible that you rlaptops graphics card only outputs one display at a time. DO you know what graphics card it has?
