Using A USB Mixer As External Soundcard

Situation: I'm a newbie looking up to get better audio out of my computer. I'm on a low budget and there are very limited items available in my country.

I'm eyeing on Behringer Xenyx Q502USB mixer. It has built-in audio interface and phantom power for a mic. I'd like to ask you guys if you think this mixer would enhance the audio coming out of my computer? I'm currently using Edifier X600 2.1 speaker system. I am choosing to go with a mixer for the purpose of having a device not only that could enhance my audio output but as well as having the chance to use condenser mic and record gameplays. Tho right now, my main concern is will it be or will it serve as a good starter DAC/External soundcard?

Judging by the reviews, it looks like many people are very happy with their purchase of that item. While I don't own that particular item, i do have a Behringer keyboard amp, and i've been very happy with it and it's built in audio enhancement effects.
