Hi, we are using the Ethernet cord in order to access the internet faster for Kodi, it was working just fine this whole time and then about 2 days ago, Kodi hasn't been acting right. It first started with the movie we were watching just turned off almost at the end, when I would try to start it up again it would take almost 20 min to finally get the working circle at the bottom. Not even 10 min in and it did it again. Now Kodi is like not all there. It starts up, remote works, its not frozen. BUT when I play a movie, it does 1 of 2 things. Either just stares at me right back doing NOTHING, or movie turns on and 3-10 seconds in shuts off and goes back to my options to choose 1080 or HD! We have reboot, we have begged kodi, yelled at Kodi reset the internet and NOTHING! Please HELP!
Thank you!!
Nina

It might not be the internet, Kodi relies on so many 3rd party add-ons that it sometimes gets stuck trying to update or access a program.
Try to reset the cache

It is likely not the Ethernet cable, but to rule it out get another one and try it.

Next, what type of electronic device are you doing to view Kodi PC/Android box...etc). You'll have to give us more information to about your setup. Also include the version you are using, when did you last update it?

Have you cleared the cache? Have you recently changed anything settings on the device?
