Utorrent Downloading Is the worse

First of all I am not sure if this is the best place to be asking questions like these.
I use Utorrent a lot because with my internet connection it seems the best option
I always choose the torrent with the highest seeds and I always add trackers (Extra Ones)
I have an average download speed of 12mbps and an average upload speed of 1mbps
I always,and I mean always, no matter the torrent,the number of seeders the number of leechers and such download at a stuggering amount of 1mbps.Also I use wired connection
Can anyone here help me with my Settings? Is my router not good enough?Am I being capped from my ISP?

Unless you changed your uTorrent settings, it shows speeds in MB, Megabyte, not Megabit. 12mb/s does equal around 1.5MB.
