Will a straight talk sim card work on a version phone.

Depends on the area. Straight talk uses other networks (from other companies) for their service. In some areas they use a GSM network and in others a CDMA one. They are not interchangeable. So it will depend on if the one they use in your area is GSM or CDMA. Verizon is on a CDMA network (like Sprint) where as say AT&T uses a GSM network.

You will have to contact Straight Talk to find out which network that SIM is from. GSM or CDMA.
