Solved! Vertical lines on laptop screen when it gets hot

Hi, when I use my laptop (hp 1012 elite x2 g2), black lines gradually appear on the screen and it increases when I use it more. I tried using a commercial fan behind it and it seems to slow down the black lines from appearing. After that, the whole screen starts to be covered in lines, disrupting the screen. How do you fix it?

before doing anything, backup important data

try an external monitor/TV, if it´s happening there too, your graphics unit is either faulty or overheating. Replace the thermal paste of CPU and GPU.
If this won´t work, you can try baking the motherboard .
