VGA port on ancient Toshiba tv not doing anything

I was just donated an ancient analogue Toshiba LCD TV and it had a VGA port on the side so I plugged it all up to my computer with the intention of using it as a secondary but when I switched it on nothing happened. I flipped through the menus and I cant find anyway to change input or anything alike. Anyone have any idea how I could make it work? Is there a channel I need to put it on?

What Toshiba model? Have you tried switching to 0 channel and then surfing using down?
