[citation][nom]omnimodis78[/nom]So let's get this straight - the most advanced militaries in the World are at war in Iraq, and Afghanistan and yet they can't seem to decisively subjugate militants with 30 year old Soviet firearms. Perhaps lasers aren't the answer to future warfare, but rather focusing on streamlining the intelligence community, and yes, bringing back espionage and even assassinations.[/citation]
Its not a question of weapons. Its the rules of engagement that are holding us back in the Middle East. Of course espionage has its place, but assassinations were banned by Congress in 1976. Or maybe it was 1975.. I dont feel like looking it up to confirm..
