Hi,

I make YouTube videos and was wondering if there were any nice video cameras out there for under $500. I am looking for something that is not really a camcorder, but more of a DSLR type, to feel more professional. I have a camcorder right now, but it doesn't have many options in terms of settings. (Exposure, File type, ETC) Any price range is fine, but I am shooting for $500.

ALL in all I would like a camera that has more settings to manipulate and something that can record at 1080P and 60 or 30 FPS.

Thank you, but I have a question about it.

The maximum recording time on the Nikon D3200, on their website, says that it is 20 minutes. >>> Is this maximum time allowed per clip, or total time of clips before you have to delete them? If it is total, would getting a larger SD card make recording times longer? If it is per clip is that due to risk of overheating?

I would think it is the max per clip. The per clip limit is related to overheating. You can store more than 20 minutes of video on the SD card.

Ah, thank you.

Glad to help. The time limit is common for DSLR's.
