Hello,

Recently I was looking into recording videos and posting on youtube.
I record with Dxtory at 720p, 30fps and edit and render with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
I decide I want a really nice outro so I find some good ol' Minecraft footage on my second HDD and I finish my outro.
All looks good. I render the video. Still looks good.
I end up wanting to show my cousin, so I decide to upload the video to Youtube. Just temporarily so he can look at it.......
I upload to youtube and this is where I get startled. My video looks like crap.

I end up fiddling with some of the render settings and this is my best possible result so far...
The thing is, no matter what quality I upload in it always drops to around that standard...
Here is the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5jP_g1EIZ4

My Premiere Pro render settings:

1280x720p
29.97fps
Field order: Progressive
Aspect: Square Pixels
TV Standard: NTSC
Profile: High
Level: 5.1

Render at maximum depth (unticked)

Bitrate Settings:
VBR 2 Pass
Target Bitrate: 16
Maximum Bitrate: 16

Key Frame Distance: 90
Use Maximum Render Quality (Ticked)

The settings I used previously were like:
1280x720p
30fps
Field order: Progressive
Aspect: Square Pixels
TV Standard: NTSC
Profile: High
Level: 2.1 I believe

Render at maximum depth (unticked)

Bitrate Settings:
VBR 1Pass
Target Bitrate: 6
Maximum Bitrate: 9

Key Frame Distance: 90
Use Maximum Render Quality (Unticked)

Any help is appreciated....
Thanks

(Im also currently uploading some footage rendered in Sony Vegas to see if It makes any difference)

Solution
You keep removing the videos so we have nothing to look at ;)

What format are you transcoding to? I'd prefer H.264/AVC or MPEG4 (ideally the former) over anything else you might be trying. Note that Youtube always transcodes your video again, so it will never be identical to the original. Upload a higher quality video than you expect to see as the end result.

I now have a better result after uploading..

I use h.264 and after lowering the bitrate again it looks better on youtube??
Anyway, I took down the videos after seeing this successful upload..
Thanks for responding though..
I'll choose you as best solution to finish this thread..
